What Shuya Wellness SPA offers
Shuya Wellness SPA is listed as a massage spa, with massage and spa as additional categories. Reviewers describe deep, strong-pressure massage, a hot stone massage with hot towels, and a foot treatment that one customer received as a birthday gift.
Reviews suggest the spa serves people who want firm, therapeutic work on areas such as the shoulders and lower back. It also draws visitors who treat a session as a spa day, as one reviewer describes a Sunday visit.
What customers say about Shuya Wellness SPA
Of the five review excerpts, four give 5 stars and one gives 3. Several reviews describe firm pressure that suited the customer. One review from 6 months ago, about a session with Jenny, says she addressed severe tension in the shoulders and lower back and calls her knowledgeable about anatomy. Two reviews from 5 months ago praise Michelle: one calls her kind, clean and attentive about pressure, and the other says the strong massage worked out the kinks. The first of those also describes the room as clean and inviting.
The critical review, from a year ago, rates the deep massage with hot stones as nice but not the best the reviewer has had, and calls it rough rather than relaxing. The reviewer objected that the therapist left the room 3 times, to answer the door, to fetch a hot towel and to fetch the hot stones, and that the session started a few minutes late. Another review from a year ago calls the staff accommodating and friendly and reports a thorough massage.

I had an absolutely incredible session with Jenny today and I cannot recommend her highly enough! I came in with severe tension in my shoulders and lower back, and she truly has the magic touch. She is highly educated in anatomy, knew exactly how to address my problem areas, and managed to release knots that other therapists couldn't touch. She balances firm, effective, therapeutic pressure with a calming, professional demeanor. It was a life-changing experience, and I left feeling completely re-set, mobile, and free of pain. 5/5 stars!

Marvelous massage by Michelle. She is very kind, very clean, and works very hard. The environment was very clean and inviting. She asks about how the pressure is and is attentive to the client. I recommend highly

The deep massage was very nice with hot stones but definitely not the best Ive ever had. The massage was very rough not very relaxing. I was disappointed the lady had to walk out of the room 3 times while giving me a massage. Once to answer the door, once to get a hot towel and once to get the hot stones and on top of this she started a few minutes late. I feel all of the stuff should be in the room ready for the clients so there no disruptions. She didnt cover me well with the sheet all my goods were hanging out everywhere. On top of that the card reader wasn't working and I had to go to the ATM to get money to pay them.

These ladies have started a new business. They don't speak much English so text for an appointment. Very accommodating and super friendly, plus I received a thorough massage. They also gave me a free foot treatment because it was my birthday.
